Mr. Poindexter, has over 24 years of aviation and airline experience with almost 20 years as an owner or executive level dealing with high value aircraft in sales, lease structures, cross border finance and aircraft charter programs. Mr. Poindexter has extensive experience with over "115 aircraft or large engine transactions" completed. He has also written business plans and raised over $40MM in capital for cross border aircraft lease/financing, jet engine leasing, global aircraft remarketing, air carrier operations, aircraft maintenance, planning, including aircraft materials and spares management.
Mr. Poindexter has worked closely with several large and small airlines, aviation investment firms and leasing companies to source aircraft funding. He has developed long-term relationships with airlines, governments and corporate aircraft clients in Latin America, Caribbean, Europe, Asia and Africa. John has has also provided consulting and advisory services to airlines including writing business plans, making projections and successfully raising over $15 Million in Funding.
Mr. Poindexter has management experience with FAA Part 121 and Part 135 Air Carriers including FAA and DOT Certification Process. He has familiarity with the FAA, DNAC, JAA and ICAO rules and international air treaties. Served has served in Vice President, President or uppper management of three (3) airline spares companies in Atlanta and Miami. John has bought, sold, parted out or arranged leases on more than $250 Million USD for aircraft, spares inventories and large turbine engines. Mr. Poindexter is also an FAA licensed commercial pilot with a multi-engine rating and ferries aircraft and he flies the company aircraft hiself. Mr. Poindexter is well traveled, multi-lingual and he has has attended numerous training, industry trade or air shows such as Salon Le Bourget (Paris Air Shows), Farnborogh UK, NBAA, ISTAT including professional motivational sales training events and other industry conferences.
